School Closure Update 1 - Everything's gonna be alright!

Hi there children!

I hope you are well, I miss you so much!
I hope you are having a beautiful time with your family, because now, in these situations, we have to see the good things everywhere and being at home with your family is the best thing you can have. So, I hope you can enjoy it!
I didn't give you homework but there are many, many things you can do to improve your English and keep active, so in this post I'll give you some ideas with things to do. Keep reading to find more about games, activities and cool videos I found that I think maybe you'll like and can be useful.
On the other hand, it seems we won't have English Day on the date we had planned, but we may have it when we come back, so the first thing you can do is to practice the Sing for the Climate Dance. Now, now, now! It's a way to move, to keep moving, to be active, so... what else? It's good!
One last thing! Remember this is not homework, it's something optional, but if you are watching this you can share it with your classmates and maybe work online, do some activities together. Use the time, learn and enjoy...all at the same time.
Nothing else. I hope to see you soon, keep safe, I love you 💓... and see you really soon 😘.

You can also look for the Onze de Setembre English channel on Youtube, where you can find the playlists we use in class, with videos related to the topics we work on.

Finally, some more ideas:

  • Remember to watch films, videos or cartoons in English, practice makes perfect!
  • Why don't you write letters or mails to your friends or family?
  • Do you like something very much? (An actor, a singer, a sport, an animal...) Write something about it! Or record yourself talking about it! Or write a comment here in English!

I hope this is useful, I'll come back soon with more resources.

Be safe and be happy 💕
